About Us

With 20 years experience as a home builder, designer and with remodeling homes in Santa Fe, Tierra Concepts has developed an exceptionally strong organizational team comprised of experts. A home-town business, Tierra Concepts knows how to deliver Santa Fe, not only its beauty and romance, but also building custom homes and renovations on schedule, within budget and to superior standards. Clients can relax and enjoy the creative aspects knowing the right team has been chosen, one of the most knowledgeable teams in town.

Eric Faust
Eric Faust heads up Tierra Concepts’ award-winning design team. He has a keen design sense and ability to visualize creative new concepts in three dimensions. Eric uses an intuitive approach to working with clients in order to design custom homes that fully reflect the customers’ needs and desires while enhancing the artistic integrity of the home. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, but returned to his childhood dream of designing and building homes when asked by his parents to double the size of their farm house. Eric relocated to Santa Fe in 1988 to design and build a solar home with his brother. Since that first solar home, he has continued to design and build adobe, pumicecrete, rastra, and other Santa Fe Style homes as well as a few commercial buildings in Santa Fe.

Continuing the 400 Year Legacy of Santa Fe Furniture-making

For Sale:
After 11 years of ownership of the longest standing Santa Fe company making hand-crafted northern New Mexican furniture, Keith Gorges, Kurt Faust and Eric Faust are selling Southwest Spanish Craftsmen. “We realize now that we need to hand this off to someone else able to carry on the traditions and values that this company embodies,” said Keith Gorges. The partners are making this sale public in hopes that the community will get involved in helping to find the right candidate. “Southwest Spanish Craftsmen has been an asset to Santa Fe for over 80 years, we feel strongly that the community can help us find the right person and identify someone that will be the appropriate steward for this historic business.” said Kurt Faust. “Southwest Spanish Craftsmen is one of the main businesses downtown still selling something that is authentically Santa Fe.”
